While you are on the property, you can purchase tickets to visit all of the rescued animals in our care.
Registered participants receive discounted admission.
History
In 2022, Aaron Hoyt and Ed Bausman had a wild idea to create a car show to benefit a charity they were passionate about. They also wanted to make a show that took the good elements from other shows and minimized those that didn’t work to make this the People’s Show. A 501(c)(3) charity application was filed soon after for the Turpentine Creek Mopar Classic so we could continue this partnership, and the rest is history!
Growth
Over the years, Turpentine Creek Mopar Classic has grown from a medium-sized show with just under 100 cars our inaugural year to well over 100 cars in subsequent years! The donations also increased from year to year: In 2022, the donation was $4000; 2023 saw the donation jump to $7500; 2024 brought in $8000. Where will 2025 lead us?
Impact
At Turpentine Creek Mopar Classic, we measure our success by the donations we bring. With the help of dozens of volunteers, hundreds of participants, as well as dozens of vendors and food trucks, we have raised money to help provide lifelong homes for the animals at the Refuge. The Turpentine Creek Mopar Classic has also participated in the naming rights of Freedom Field.
